• Unleash Your Wild Side October 29th to November 2nd, 2008 at WestWorld of Scottsdale for the Cynosport World Games. See what it takes to be America's next top dog! World-class canine sport competition and expo-dog agility, flying disc, flyball, dock jumping, herding, freestyle dancing and much more! There's even a practice zone to inspire your four-legged star. So bring your pooch and watch the top dogs take to the field on October 29th to November 2nd, times are Wed 1-5pm, Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri-Sat 9am-5pm & 6:30 to 8:30pm and Sunday from 9am -4pm.

• Join the fun at the Pasta, Poker and Pets Party on Friday, October 24th from 7pm tp 11pm at the Homestead Community Center at DC Ranch, Union Hills Road and Thompson Peak benefitting the Lost Our Home Pet Foundation! For the small donation of $50 single and $85 couple enjoy drinks, pasta and poker. Presentation is hosted by KPHO Channel 5's news anchor, Kent Dana so come on down and take a chance on saving an animal who has been left behind from evictions or foreclosures.

Celeste Biegen, and her daughter, Terra McShane, owns the Barkery Etc, an upscale dog boutique in north Scottsdale's DC Ranch Marketplace. There, pets are offered only the best. The boutique offers designer apparel and carriers for small pooches. For example, a pink Ms. Thang T-shirt with Swarovski crystals by Mushu is $25. A bed designed Poochie of Beverly Hills Chaise Lounge is $350. Four-legged friends are welcomed while they shop with their owners for gourmet snacks and other pet care products'
